As you may be aware, Governor Pritzker lifted the Illinois Mask Mandate effective February 28th. Therefore, starting February 28th Grace will no longer require anyone to wear a mask while inside the building.
A few important details:
-This change includes child development center. Our daycare is regulated and licensed by the Department of Child and Family Services. As of February 28, 2022, DCFS has lifted its mask mandate.
-We will continue to respect those who wish to social distance and wear masks. We will have a separate section of the sanctuary designated for those who wish to wear masks and social distance. We will also continue to offer individually wrapped wafers and juice for those who would like them for communion.
-We will continue to offer online worship weekly. Our services can be found on our website, YouTube page, and Facebook page.
I recognize that there are a variety of feelings regarding this issue. I am grateful for the flexibility and empathy you have shown to one another throughout this pandemic.
