Generosity is one of the clearest signs of faith in action. Jesus reminds us, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). Our hearts, together, shape the ministry and mission of Grace Lutheran Church.
This fall, our theme is “Inspiring Faith, Giving with Our Hearts.” It reminds us that generosity is not just about what we give, but about why we give — a grateful response to God’s abundant blessings.
Over the past year, we have seen how your generosity has made a difference. Our children’s ministries have thrived with Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and confirmation classes full of energy and growth. Our mission efforts have touched lives near and far — from supporting local food pantries and veterans to caring for children in Kenya.
But there is still work to be done. In the coming year, we hope to expand opportunities for our youth by hiring a dedicated Junior and Senior High Youth Ministry Director, continue to provide fair support for our staff, and strengthen our partnerships with organizations serving those in need. These efforts will help us grow as a congregation that lives out its mission to “gather, grow, and give together in Grace.”
In the weeks ahead, you will receive emails, bulletin inserts, mission moments, and additional letters sharing more about this appeal. Please take time to read them, pray about how God is calling you to respond, and consider how you can grow in generosity.
On Commitment Sunday, October 19, 2025, you will be invited to bring forward your commitment card during worship. Together, we will celebrate the faithful response of this congregation and look forward to what God will do through our shared ministry in 2026.
Thank you for being part of this exciting work. Your prayers, your presence, and your generosity make a difference.
Sincerely in Christ,
Andy Tyrrell
Pastor
P.S. Your commitment card will be mailed to your home the week of October 12 for you to return on October 19.
