FILL THE PANTRY & FEED THE CHILDREN: The mission focus for VBS this year is Helping Hands Food Pantry in Spring Grove.  This week, during VBS, children are learning about the wonderful ways Helping Hands serves our community.  Please prayerfully consider joining us in this mission.  A box designated for non-perishable items can be found inside the main entrance of the church.  Additional information and envelopes for monetary gifts are located at the welcome center in the narthex.  If you have any questions, please see Nancy O’Connor or email childministry@gracelutheran1.org .  Thank you!

 

Golf Outing to Support Veterans: Join us for the 7th annual golf outing to benefit veterans on Sunday, September 13th at 1pm at the Twin Lakes Country Club. Sunday School Starts September 14th! Our first day of Sunday school will be September 14th during the 9:30am service. Sunday School is open to kids who are 4 years old to those who are in 5th grade. More registration information will be available soon. Email childministry@gracelutheran1.org with any questions.

 

Music Ministry at Grace: We are seeking more folks to become involved with music at Grace. If you are interested in sharing your voice, instrumental ability or have no musical background but would like to learn how you might be involved, please contact Tara at jzzldy8@sbcglobal.net  There are opportunities to help lead the weekly hymns, sing with our choir, or help provide special music on holidays, as well as for Sunday services. All are welcome, ages 12 and up [younger considered], and no level of experience is required. And you need not make a long-term commitment.
