The Outreach Cafe will be held this Sunday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Enjoy some breakfast and have some conversation and leave knowing that 100% of your free will offering will be donated to these missions of our church: Veterans Path to Hope, the local food pantry, PADS homeless shelter, Habitat for Humanity of McHenry County, and our mission church in Kenya. Thank you for the contributions of time, talent, and treasures from the people of Grace Lutheran Church and the financial donation from Thrivent Financial. None of this would be possible without your ongoing support.

Giving at Grace: This week, Grace donated $5,000 to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). This gift was possible because of our endowment fund. Thank you for your generosity so we can continue supporting important missions like these.  The National Alliance on Mental Illness of McHenry County is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those who are affected by mental illness. T

Mulch Day May 11th: One of the first things people notice when they visit Grace is our gardens. These help make Grace a welcoming and inviting place. On May 11th at 9:00am we are going to be spreading mulch around the church grounds. If interested in helping please contact our church office or sign up in our church narthex. Please bring rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc. if you can. Thank you for your support!

Adopt a Garden Volunteers Needed: We still need a few people to help with garden beds around the church this spring and summer. These areas are maintained by volunteers. No gardening experience is required as the remaining areas need to be periodically weeded. If you are willing to help please contact Kyle Truelsen or our church office.

Softball Season is Here! Grace is part of the McHenry Christian Fellowship Softball League. We will play Monday nights in McHenry starting at the end of the month. For more information or to join our team, contact Dean Peterson or our church office.

Confirmation and Sunday School Continue: Confirmation and Sunday School are now meeting each week. Sunday school during our 9:30am worship service and confirmation Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

Choir Meets Tuesday Nights at 7pm: Choir is open to people of all singing abilities over the age of 12. Please contact our choir director Tara if you have any questions.
