Lutherdale Bible Camp Sunday: Lutherdale Bible Camp will be with us on Sunday April 30th. They will be helping lead Sunday school and share more about their amazing ministries. Hope you can join us!

It was such a joy to celebrate Easter in our traditional manner this year, complete with sharing an Easter breakfast meal! Thrivent Financial provided $250.00 in funds to purchase food and supplies for the event. There were at least 28 different members of Grace Lutheran Church who assisted in the event by shopping, prepping, cooking, setting up and cleaning up, and of those, 17 of them were Thrivent members. We served breakfast to 120 people and we raised $1147.00, which will be evenly split between WELCA and the ministries supported by Outreach Cafe. We want to give thanks to God, to Thrivent, and to each and every person who came to support the event, as well as to those who came to eat breakfast and join into the fellowship of this church. Special thanks to WELCA for their help in the event, as well as our Outreach Cafe team, and for our special helpers who hopped in and made this breakfast such a success.

Outreach Cafe will be served this Sunday from 8:30 to 9:30. Come join us for some good food and fellowship.

Grace’s Softball Season Starts Soon! Grace plays in the McHenry Christian Softball League Monday nights in McHenry. It is a fun, competitive, and slow-pitch league. The season will begin in a few weeks. If you are interested in playing contact the softball team coordinator for more information.

Adopt a Garden Volunteers Needed: Did you know that Grace’s gardens are maintained by volunteers? One of the first things people notice when they visit Grace is the gardens of the church. You can help Grace continue to be a welcoming place by participating in the Adopt a Garden program. Whether it is adding plants and flowers or simply pulling weeds contact the church office if you are interested in helping this year.

If you can continue to support Grace through your offering, we would be grateful.  You can give to Grace online  or by mailing your offering directly to the church (P.O. Box 425 Richmond, IL 60071). 

Confirmation and Sunday School Continue: Confirmation and Sunday school are now meeting each week. Sunday school during our 9:30am worship service and confirmation Wednesday’s at 5:30pm.

Choir Meets Tuesday Nights at 7pm! Choir is open to people of all singing abilities over the age of 12. Please contact the office if you plan on coming or have questions.
