Outreach Café is this Sunday (2/22) from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. 100% of the proceeds are donated to five missions of our church: Habitat for Humanity, a homeless shelter here in McHenry County, Veterans' Path to Hope, local food pantries, and Good News Kenya. It is a great opportunity to have breakfast and get to know each other a little better. The Outreach Cafe is made possible by the financial support of Thrivent Financial and by the people of Grace.

Email Scams: Please beware of scammers posing as church staff and requesting money. Scammers have been known to create fake email addresses pretending to be church staff. Pastor Andy or anyone from our church will never contact you directly asking them to send you money or gift cards. If you are uncertain about a particular email, please contact our church office at 815-678-3082.

First Bible Class: A First Bible Class will be offered to children 2nd grade and older with parents/guardians. The class will be on Sunday, March 8th, following the 9:30 worship service. The class will last about one hour. The presentation of Bibles will take place on Sunday, March 15th, during the 9:30 service. If you have any questions or want to sign up, please contact childministry@gracelutheran1.org.

Diaper Collection: Throughout March, Sunday School children will take part in a service project supporting Keeping Families Covered in McHenry, an organization dedicated to addressing diaper need. Donation boxes will be available in the Grace Lutheran narthex for diapers (all sizes), wipes, bed pads, and related supplies—open packages welcome. Cash donations are appreciated. WELCA Meetings: WELCA meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 10:00am in Luther Hall. All women are invited to attend.

Confirmation and Sunday School Continue: Confirmation and Sunday School are now meeting each week. Sunday school during our 9:30am worship service and confirmation Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

Music Ministry at Grace: We are seeking more folks to become involved with music at Grace. If you are interested in sharing your voice, instrumental ability or have no musical background but would like to learn how you might be involved, please contact Tara at jzzldy8@sbcglobal.net  There are opportunities to help lead the weekly hymns, sing with our choir, or help provide special music on holidays, as well as for Sunday services. All are welcome, ages 12 and up [younger considered], and no level of experience is required. And you need not make a long-term commitment.
