Our stewardship team is working to make sure people are aware of the good work God is doing at Grace. We are excited to share stories from our members about how your generosity has positively impacted individuals and communities. Our next story  features Eliana a lifelong member of Grace .

Eliana's first memories of growing in faith at Grace were from Sunday School, where she learned about God in fun and engaging ways. Sunday School helped her find a second home where she was excited to come every week.

As she grew older, she continued to strengthen her faith through Grace’s confirmation program. She was able to explore God in even a deeper way by having interesting conversations with her peers. Eliana was able to mature in her faith and was able to prepare for the challenges she may face throughout her life.

As she continued to learn more about Jesus, she also learned the importance of serving and giving. From a young age, Eliana’s family taught her the value of helping those in need. She understood that even small giving can make a big difference. From donating cans to the food pantry and giving money through the Outreach Café, the church provided Eliana and her family with numerous opportunities to make a positive impact.

Eliana hopes to continue making connections within our church. Grace has numerous opportunities to get involved. Even as a high schooler, she can volunteer at VBS and be an usher for church services. It is so rewarding. Being in a room with a bunch of smiling people, people who want to have a chat with you and genuinely want to know how you are doing, you do not get that every day. In our busy world, it can be hard to make it to church regularly, but she hopes that the next generation keeps doing it. Because a church home is not the building, it is the people of God growing in faith together.
